F3 is a joint partnership project of Chen Li Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Community Services. Endorsed by the South-East Community Development Council, its role is to advocate the Community Outreach Programme for the Elderly (COPE) put into effect in April 2008. F3 provides services focused on enhancing the quality of life among the elderly and promoting intergenerational bonding via active participation and organised programmes.

F3’s services are as follow:
Wellness Programmes
Relational and recreational activities designed to enhance the lives of elderly citizens and encourage them to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Intergenerational Programmes
The term ‘intergenerational’ refers to the fun and free interaction between children, youths and the seniors.

Befriending & Home Visitation Services
The purpose is to provide companionship for the elderly and give them an opportunity to develop new relationships and participate in social activities.

Volunteer Opportunities
The door is always open for students and civic groups to play an active role in contributing back to society.

The race clinic principle coach, Mr. Steven Quek, ran through the basic guide in preparing a race and in bringing a step further with demonstrations, the runners went through a 5.2km run along Bedok Reservoir. Our first runner, Mr Seah Kwee Teck, attained a good record of 21mins 37secs in the 5.2km trial run.

The next race clinic session will be held on 21 August 2010, at Water-venture Bedok Reservoir. Principle coach, Mr. Gino Ng, will be guiding runners to prepare & conquer a 7.5km race. For more details, please log on to Mizuno Race Clinic.
