Main Sponsor, VGO Corporation Limited, has pledged its support to Friends of the Third Age (F3) with an undisclosed cash donation that will be presented to the charity’s representative on race day.

F3 is a joint partnership project of Chen Li Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Community Services. Endorsed by the South-East Community Development Council, its role is to advocate the Community Outreach Programme for the Elderly (COPE) put into effect in April 2008. F3 provides services focused on enhancing the quality of life among the elderly and promoting intergenerational bonding via active participation and organised programmes.

Wellness Programmes
Relational and recreational activities designed to enhance the lives of elderly citizens and encourage them to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Intergenerational Programmes
The term ‘intergenerational’ refers to the fun and free interaction between children, youths and the seniors.

Befriending & Home Visitation Services
The purpose is to provide companionship for the elderly and give them an opportunity to develop new relationships and participate in social activities.

Volunteer Opportunities
The door is always open for students and civic groups to play an active role in contributing back to society.
